What personal data we collect and why we collect it – When you place an order via Knead to Bake you will need to input your name and address. You will also have the option to include your phone number and email address. Knead to Bake does not collect any other information. Your payment information is not stored on the website. If payment is made by PayPal, Square or Bank Deposit only those institutions will have your payment details. We also do not retain any financial information when paying by Direct Debit or Credit Card, unless the ‘Credit Card Authority Form’ has been completed for future orders. If you subscribe to the Customer VIP List, your name and email address is collected, however this is not stored on the website but rather is collected and stored on Mailchimp’s website.

If you choose to pay via Credit card over the phone, your details are entered directly into the square site and Knead to Bake does not retain any hard copies of financial data or store any information on the website.

Knead to Bake collects your data to enable your orders to be sent to the correct person and address. Knead to Bake also collects data via sign up forms or product enquiries to allow an answer to be sent back or to email our customers information and special offers.

By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users.

Comments – When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media – If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms – Knead to Bake keeps contact form submissions for a 3 month period for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.
Cookies – If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. Who we share your data with

For orders your personal information is being collected by Knead to Bake. For Knead to Bake VIP’s your information is being collected by Mailchimp. For payments your financial information is being taken care of by either PayPal or Square. Direct Debit information is not collected. Credit card payments are not retained by Knead to Bake and are taken care of by Square.

Knead to Bake will not share your data with anyone apart from the required companies to either deliver your order or send you information. We do not share your data with any third party company for marketing purposes.

We may use your information to provide special offers, information or to contact you at any time regarding queries.

We may also use your contact information to notify you of important changes to our website/business or to inform you of special promotions which may be of interest to you. Before we do so, we will provide you with an opportunity to give us permission to send you marketing or promotional material. You may also notify us at any time if you do not wish to receive marketing or promotional material by contacting us.

You are not required to provide us with any personal information when visiting/browsing our website.

Your payment information is not stored on the website. If payment is made by PayPal or Square only those institutions will have your payment details. We also do not retain any financial information when paying by Direct Debit or Credit Card.

How long we retain your data

We keep enquiry form and product enquiries for a maximum of 3 months. We do not keep analytics records. We keep customer purchase records for a period of 5 years. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Food Allergy Disclaimer
Knead to Bake makes every attempt to help identify ingredients that may cause those with food allergies to experience an allergic reaction. We do have dietary codes and ingredients listed on each item available, however, there is always risk of contamination, as in our kitchen we use products such as milk, eggs, gluten, nuts & sesame seeds. Although we have strict cross contamination policies; we can not guarantee a total absence of these products in any of our baked goods. Knead to Bake will not assume any liability for adverse reactions from any of our creations. If you experience an allergic reaction, please call your local doctor or in the case of any emergency dial 000.

Knead to Bake is pleased to offer some Gluten Free items on our menu. It is important to point out that we are not a gluten-free bakery. We are very strict with cross-contamination and have processes in place to minimise this happening, however, as there may be gluten in the air and on work surfaces, if you are a Celiac or are allergic to gluten, we suggest purchasing from a completely gluten free environment.

Knead to Bake makes every effort to provide the most accurate and up to date information about nutrition, ingredients and goods offered.

Terms and Conditions


All orders will take a minimum of 48 hours before being ready for delivery. Delivery is available from Monday to Sunday. There are limited spaces for delivery. If there are no more delivery slots available upon ordering, please choose another day. If no one is home to accept your delivery, please make sure you stipulate on your order, a suitable place, away from the weather, insects and animals for the driver to leave your order.

No responsibility will be taken by Knead to Bake for items that are stolen or damaged. A photograph of your delivered order will be sent via text to your number to confirm delivery has happened.

Delivery Areas:

Brisbane City and the Southern Suburbs, Logan City Region, Redlands and parts of the Northern Gold Coast.

If your area is not listed, we don’t offer delivery to you as yet. Please fill out the form on the delivery page and we will contact you when it becomes available.

Alternatively, contact us with your requirements and we may be able to offer you delivery to your area for a minimum order spend and higher delivery fee. (No free delivery will be offered for any areas that are not stipulated above)
